These ‘Black Bay’ inspired watches hark back to the classic military watches of the late 1950s. The watch has a screw-down crown, but the absence of crown guards gives the watch a sleeker, more elegant, vintage feel.
It’s been a very long time since you were able to buy a watch this good for this price - and it was probably priced in pounds, shillings and pence. The Steeldive ‘Black Bay’ is very ‘then’... but also very ‘now’. This may be something to do with the rift in the space-time continuum that famously runs through Cardiff where SteeldiveUK is based.
